Ingredients

  • ½ cup (113.5 g) salted butter
  • ½ cup (110 g) brown sugar
  • ¼ cup (50 g) sugar
  • 1 large egg room temp
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • ½ teaspoon (0.5 teaspoon) salt
  • ½ teaspoon (0.5 teaspoon) baking soda
  • ¼ cup (24 g) oreo cookie crumbs 2 oreos blended
  • cups (175 g) all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup (90 g) white chocolate chips
  • ¼ cup (45 g) mini chocolate chips
  • 2 oreo cookies broken into pieces
  • 2 oreo cookies for topping broken into pieces
  • flaked salt for topping

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 F. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • Place butter and sugars in the bowl of a stand mixer, fitted with a paddle attachment. Beat on medium-high speed until light and fluffy, 2 to 3 minutes. Add egg and vanilla, mix until smooth on low speed, about 30 seconds.
  • Add salt, baking soda, oreo crumbs and flour and mix until combined. Fold in the mini chocolate chips, white chocolate chips and 2 oreo cookies that have been broken into small pieces.
  • Scoop the dough into large ¼ cup cookie dough balls. Top each cookie ball with a few extra oreo pieces.
  • Bake the cookies for 11-13 minutes. You're looking for a light golden brown outside rim. Sprinkle with flaked salt.

Notes

You can sub in any type of chocolate chips that you prefer, and any flavor of oreo that sounds good!
I have given both cups and grams as measurements. Grams will be more precise, especially when measuring flour. If you don’t have a kitchen scale, no problem! Just lightly spoon flour into your measuring cup to insure its not packed in there. Light and fluffy is the key.
