Preheat oven to 350 F. Line and spray and 8×8 baking dish with parchement paper.
In a medium mixing bowl beat butter and brown sugar on medium speed until combined. Add egg and vanilla and mix again.
Add flour, baking powder and salt and mix until mostly combined. Fold in cinnamon chips.
Spread batter evenly across baking pan.
Mix all chai spices together and sprinkle across the top of the uncooked batter.
Bake for 20 minutes, or until edges are browned and pulling away from the sides of the pan.
Notes
If you don't have or can't find cinnamon chips, you could use butterscotch chips or white chocolate chips instead, or even just leave them out. These bars freeze perfectly in an airtight container or ziplock bag. Or can be stored on the counter for a few days.I have given both cups and grams as measurements. Grams will be more precise, especially when measuring flour. If you don’t have a kitchen scale, no problem! Just lightly spoon flour into your measuring cup to insure its not packed in there. Light and fluffy is the key.
