This apple crumble for two is perfect when you have one apple and want to make a quick little dessert for two! It's filled with sweetly spiced apples and topped with a delicious buttery topping.
Preheat your oven to 350 and butter or spray two ramekins with cooking spray.
In a small bowl mix together diced apples, brown sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg. Divide evenly between the two baking dishes.
Using the same bowl mix together flour, brown sugar and salt. Add in melted butter and mix together until combined. Sprinkle the crumb topping over the apples.
Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until lightly golden brown along the top. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
Notes
I have made this using granny smith, envy and honey crisp apples. I really think you can't go wrong as long as it's one that you enjoy. You can add 2 tablespoon of oats or nuts to the crumb topping if you'd like.
