puff pastry apple galette
This puff pastry apple galette is an easier version of an apple pie, using a store bought puff pastry and a simple apple filling.
STEP ONE: p
lace apples, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, salt cornstarch and lemon juice in a saucepan.

ook apples until the juices release and start to thicken.
STEP three: R
oll out puff pastry dough and places cooked apples in the middle.
STEP four: F
old the extra dough, overlapping the apples.
STEP five: B
rush the top and sides with egg and sprinkle with turbinado sugar.

ake at 400 for 22-26 minutes, or until golden brown.
llow to cool. Cut into slices and serve with ice cream.
