cinnamon rolls with apple pie filling


Pillowy cinnamon rolls with apple pie filling, and topped with a perfect vanilla buttercream frosting.


ingredients: -Butter -Apples -Brown Sugar -Sugar -Eggs -Vanilla -Salt -Cinnamon -Nutmeg -Flour  -Milk  -Yeast -Powdered Sugar

STEP ONE: Make the apple pie filling: Cook butter, apples, brown sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon & nutmeg.

STEP two: activate yeast in milk and sugar. Add eggs and butter and mix.

STEP three: Add salt and flour and knead for 3-5 minutes. Cover and set aside to rise.

STEP four: Roll out dough, spread with butter, brown sugar, cinnamon and apple pie filling.

STEP five: roll up into a log and cut into 12 equal parts.

STEP six: Place rolls in a baking pan and allow to rise til doubled in size.

STEP seven: bake cinnamon rolls at 375 for 14-18 minutes.

STEP eight: Make vanilla frosting while rolls cool and then top with frosting.
