caramel oatmeal cookies
Caramel oatmeal cookies are a chewy oatmeal cookie filled with bits of toffee and a a good chunk of creamy caramel. They're sweet, gooey and just a bit salty.
STEP ONE: C
ream together butter and sugars. Add egg and vanilla and mix again.
STEP two: m
ix in baking powder, baking soda, salt and flour. Fold in oats.
STEP three: F
old in the toffee bits.
STEP four: s
coop cookie dough into balls. Roll a caramel in a ball and push into the center of the cookie dough.
STEP five: s
hape the cookie dough around the caramel ball. Chill dough 2 hours.
STEP six: s
prinkle with flaked salt. Bake at 365 for
