caramel oatmeal cookies


Caramel oatmeal cookies are a chewy oatmeal cookie filled with bits of toffee and a a good chunk of creamy caramel. They're sweet, gooey and just a bit salty.


ingredients: -Butter -Sugar -Brown Sugar -Egg -Vanilla -Baking Powder -Baking Soda -Salt -Flour  -Oats -Toffee -Caramel

STEP ONE: Cream together butter and sugars. Add egg and vanilla and mix again.

STEP two: mix in baking powder, baking soda, salt and flour. Fold in oats.

STEP three: Fold in the toffee bits.

STEP four: scoop cookie dough into balls. Roll a caramel in a ball and push into the center of the cookie dough.

STEP five: shape the cookie dough around the caramel ball. Chill dough 2 hours.

STEP six: sprinkle with flaked salt. Bake at 365 for  10-12 minutes.
