This almond raspberry cake is a buttery almond flavored cake topped with a raspberry compote and an almond crumble topping.

tart by making a raspberry compote by cooking raspberries, brown sugar, lemon juice and cornstarch.

ake the cake layer. Mix together butter, sugar, eggs, vanilla and almond, and buttermilk. Fold in dry ingredients.
